How to Shop for Flooring at Home
Covid-19 doesn’t have to stop your from preparing your next home renovation.
With the pandemic surging once again in the United States, many counties and regions within California have issued stay-at-home orders. Because of this, many businesses are trying to move their operations to the digital world to comply with the state mandates and to limit the spread of the coronavirus. For some businesses, that may be relatively easy. As a flooring and home improvement services store, it has been a bit more difficult for us here at California Renovation to get everything up and running.
Luckily, though, our national affiliate Carpet One Floor and Home has offered a solution — the Carpet One Sample Box! Now, you can shop online for flooring samples without ever leaving your home.
How It Works
When you’re browsing our location’s Carpet One microsite, you’ll be able to choose from a wide variety of luxury vinyl plank, hardwood, and carpet options for your home or commercial space. You can choose up to 6 samples per box, but don’t worry, you can mix and match between different types of flooring to get to know all of your options!
When looking at various products, there is also a visualizer tool. This allows you to upload photos of your space, and the computer program will virtually swap out your old flooring for the new flooring you are browsing. This can give you a good idea as to how the flooring would look in your home — saving you time and energy! Not every carpet has this option, but you can certainly get a good idea as to what color scheme you would want in your space.
What’s Inside
Inside the box itself, you’ll obviously receive your 6 flooring samples, but along with them, you will also receive a mini magazine published by Carpet One that focuses on interior design as well as a coupon for $250 off a purchase of $1999 or more! On the back, you’ll find our location’s information, so you know who to call if you wish to proceed with your flooring renovation.
On the back of the samples, you’ll find a label that includes all the product information including brand, line, and style. If you choose to move forward with a Carpet One affiliated company (such as yours truly, California Renovation), you can bring that information to your sales representative so you can get the exact same product. Additionally, there is a QR code on the back of the sample that when scanned with your phone camera or other portable device, will bring you to the product’s page on the Carpet One microsite.
